Explore Costa Navarino and 4,500 years of history & culture

Largely untouched by mass tourism, Costa Navarino harbors cultural values, traditions and a history of more than 4,500 years, which live in harmony with one of the most stunning scenic landscapes of the Mediterranean. Discover palaces and vaulted tombs from the Mycenaean era, classical temples, Byzantine churches and medieval castles, all set in a breathtaking sun-drenched, lush landscape transforming this area to an ideal historic destination. Spend time with your family by engaging yourselves in traditional activities ranging from fishing to olive oil and wine-making, or simply mingle with the local community, becoming part of an age-long heritage that spans the millennia.

Follow the interesting journey of two Starwood Preferred Guest Members as they unveil their perfect day exploring the destination of Costa Navarino and its beautiful surroundings.

They traveled with SPG across Costa Navarino to their favorite places, offering an authentic view of what makes this destination special for them.

First stop of their journey was Gialova where they had the chance to visit “NAKED KING” handmade soaps. This place makes little pieces of wellness, using natural products and inspired by old traditional ways, the ideal combination to keep you fresh every day.

Next stop was a village home in the picturesque town of Pylos where Richard and Kim discovered traditional Messinian Cooking with the help of local woman who shared authentic family recipes passed down from mother to daughter. In the afternoon, they continued with a half-day cruise with Navarino Sea Yachting and explored the crystal-clear waters and secrets of Messinia, followed by a delicious dinner with fresh fish and sea food.

This is the perfect way of SPG Members, Richard and Kim, exploring Costa Navarino. Enjoy discovering yours.
