    The village of Vrouchas is a small village situated a little north of Elounda in a rural and agricultural setting with olive groves, forest and vegetable fields. It remains a pretty authentic village with old houses and just outside the village, there is a row of old windmills that were built around the 1800 and were used for grinding corn.
