An Epicurean Journey Through Greece
Travel through Greece as we encounter some of the most enchanting culinary moments, experience authentic cooking traditions and explore delicious native ingredients. We journey through the rich Grecian gastronomy through the eyes of photographer Jo Yee.

1. A Wild Beauty
Crete is home to Ancient Minoan ruins, secluded beaches and impressive gorges overflowing with unique flora and fauna.

2. Preparing Stuffed Vine Leaves
A variety of the traditional Greek recipe “Dolmadakia”, served with fresh yogurt, is one of the many treats prepared by Chef Alexandros Lefkaditis.

3. Cretan Feast: Mizithra Cheese
With a granular creamy texture and a unique dry semi-sour exquisite taste, Mizithra is a versatile soft white cheese. It is ideal as a desert and topping the famous Cretan Dakos.

4. Special Treat: Myzithropita
The Mizithra cheese is ready for Mrs. Irini to prepare a delicious cheese pie: Myzithropita.

5. Antikristo Lamb
A simple recipe meaning literally ‘Across the Fire’; all you need is fire and salt.

6. Time to Feast
Our epicurean story concludes with a Cretan feast laid out in an array of authentic delicacies. Good music, endless dancing and a full moon by the sea.
