The Old Port was the island's only Port up until mid 00's. The port used to serve as the docking bay for all commercial ferry boats, sea jets and rarely private yachts in its inactive hours. Since the opening of the New Port (Tourlos), the Old Port reserves a very small section for commercial use and focuses primarily on private yachts and fishing boats.
With lovely narrow old streets full of little shops and restaurants, Mikri Venetia (Little Venice) is known as the most picturesque part of Chora, the capital of Mykonos island.
Discover the heart of the island, which is known by locals and tourists to be Matoyianni Street in Chora. This street is dominated by designer stores, souvenir shops, and handmade jewellery designers / sellers. During the summer months most of Matoyianni’s shops and markets are open until around midnight, and you’ll never be short of things to do throughout the evening hours.
Discover the windmills, which are quintessential features of Mykonos landscape. They are conspicuous by their snow-white color, spherical shape with the customary pointed roof made of the finest variety of wood.
Ornos village is a cosmopolitan resort lying in a picturesque location, in a cove that forms a natural harbour giving visitors the opportunity to admire a miracle of nature.
