Exciting New Culinary Concept
Destined to strengthen its position as a dining destination, a new culinary concept was born. This gastronomic notion is based on the premise of providing a dining experience that is authentic, fresh and wholesome. Curated by the newly-appointed Creative Consultant chef Athinagoras Kostakos and Chef a La Carte Komninos Mouflouzelis in collaboration with Blue Palace’s Executive Chef Alexandros Lefkaditis, what sets this new food project apart, is its ethos to spice up the known Greek classics and Mediterranean cuisine to give them a je ne sais quoi mouth-watering dining experience.
Bringing to the fore a culinary attitude that showcases the Chefs’ vision for quality food, excellent hospitality and a laid-back style to resonate with the surroundings, Chef Kostakos has created menus inspired by the unique characteristics of the surrounding area, fusing together a stylish food aesthetic with healthy, local dishes with a nod to international flavors and cultures.

Isola Restaurant offers Italian cuisine with a dose of Cretan inspiration, offering a seasonal feast of vibrant summery salads, fresh seafood and contemporary dishes using locally sourced ingredients. Isola Beach Club overlooks the shore of the resort, placed at a relaxed bohemian ambiance that perfectly pairs with its light and refreshing beachside dishes.
Asia Blue is a haven for fusion cuisine, mixing Japanese, Chinese and Thai cuisines, giving patrons a taste of Asia at this finest. Blue Door Taverna is a beautifully refurbished fisherman’s house that serves traditional Cretan cuisine. Here, catch of the day is cooked over an open grill while views of Spinalonga Island will be the most spectacular sight of your day. Last but not least, Flame is a Cretan restaurant featuring international dishes, with a focus on steaks cooked to perfection.
Meet the Chefs
At the fore of the new culinary concept are three celebrated Greek Chefs; Executive Chef Alexandros Lefkaditis is an award winning Chef who joined the resort in 2003. Athinagoras Kostakos, the creative consultant of the new culinary concept, has created award winning dishes for internationally famed restaurants in Mykonos and Chef a La Carte Komninos Mouflouzelis has over 20 years experience at top restaurants in Athens.
