Creative Director and The Luxury Collection® Global Explorer Sofia Sanchez de Betak explores Greece this Summer!

Earlier in June this year, Sofia explored Greece with The Luxury Collection®, visiting The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort in Costa Navarino, Hotel Grande Bretagne, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Athens, Santa Marina, a Luxury Collection Resort in Mykonos, Vedema, a Luxury Collection Resort and Mystique, a Luxury Collection Hotel, both located in Santorini.

The journey started from The Romanos Resort, where Sofia experienced the newly launched Romanos Ionian Exclusive, the epitome of elegant living, offering exceptional services and benefits in an elegant and lush environment.

As the trip to Greece was long, Sofia took some time to relax at the Anazoe Spa, a serene sanctuary offering exceptional specialty treatments, enjoying a Healing Massage Remedy by Hippocrates.

Later that evening, Sofia learned how to prepare traditional dishes from the local women, discovering family recipes that have been passed down through generations.

 The exploration continued with the historic city and capital of Greece, Athens. The concierge of Hotel Grande Bretagne, which is situated right in the heart of the city, provided some valuable insights and tips for Sofia, before setting out to experience Athens.

A visit to Parthenon and Acropolis is an experience that shouldn’t be missed while visiting Athens; these are Athens symbols, the connection between ancient and contemporary civilizations.
