Experience the traditional wine grape harvest

Wine grapes have been cultivated in Messinia since Homeric times. You now have the opportunity to share in the local knowledge gained over centuries by visiting a nearby vineyard, where you will learn how the grapes are traditionally grown and harvested. You can help pick the fruit by hand and watch or participate in the grape treading.

Wine Experience

A picnic lunch will then be served, featuring a rich platter of local homemade delicacies before leaving, in a gesture of authentic Messinian hospitality, you will be presented with a complimentary bottle of a selected wine.

A wine-tasting session will follow later that day returning at Enoteca, led by an experienced sommelier, at which you can assess the characteristics of some local varieties…

The activity includes return transportation to the vineyard, picnic lunch box with local delicacies, wine tasting session and a complimentary bottle of wine.
